It's been very busy this week at Ardlodge.
Plumbers arrived Tuesday and frantically laid all pipes on ground floor and installed all radiators. Thursday saw the insulation slabs being laid in readiness for the solid floors going in. On Friday the flooring team arrived - there was wet cement everywhere as can be seen from the photographs below.
Special thanks go to our neighbours (now trading as Ardmanor Building Supplies!) for dropping everything and driving off to get another 6 bags of cement following a plea from a desperate workman, otherwise the job wouldn't have been finished.
We have now been banned from entering the house until Monday at the earliest to allow the floor to set.
